Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Mnemio account and the personal data associated with it at any time. We process all deletion requests in line with our Privacy Policy.

How to request deletion

Send us an email from the email address registered to your Mnemio account, with the subject line "Delete my account".

Please include your registered email address in the message so we can locate your account. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request, to protect your account from unauthorised deletion.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete:

• Your account and login credentials (email address, name, authentication record)
• Your learning progress — completed lessons, streaks, quiz and memory-test scores
• Any memory palaces and notes you created
• Your user identifier and profile record in our database

What may be retained

Some limited information may be retained where we are legally required to keep it, or where it is needed for legitimate business purposes:

• Transaction and billing records — retained as required by tax and accounting law. Note that subscription payments are processed by Google Play, and their records are governed by Google's own policies.
• Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you.
• Records needed to prevent fraud or resolve disputes, kept only as long as necessary.

Deleting only some of your data

If you would like to delete specific data without closing your account entirely — for example, resetting your learning progress — email us the same address above and describe what you'd like removed.

How long it takes

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To cancel, open the Google Play Store app → Menu → Subscriptions → Mnemio → Cancel subscription. Please cancel before requesting account deletion to avoid further billing.
