Privacy Policy — Mnemio

Last updated: 14 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Anish Rathi ("Mnemio", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Mnemio mobile application (the "App"). We have designed Mnemio to collect as little information as possible.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. The short version

The current version of Mnemio does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, or password, does not show ads, and does not sell your data. Your learning progress is stored on your device, not on our servers.

3. Information stored on your device

As you use the App, it saves your activity — such as completed lessons, streaks, quiz and memory-test scores, your chosen goal, reminder settings, and the memory "palaces" you create — locally on your device. We do not have access to this information, and it is not transmitted to us. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information is deleted.

4. Information collected automatically

Like most mobile apps, when you download and run the App, the app stores (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and their standard tools may process limited technical information — such as device type, operating system version, and crash or performance diagnostics — to deliver and maintain the App. This processing is governed by the relevant store's own privacy policy. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or your voice.

5. Push notifications

If you enable reminders, the App may send you push notifications (for example, a daily practice reminder). These are generated based on the settings stored on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

6. Children's privacy

Mnemio is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are in the EU/EEA or another region with a higher minimum age of digital consent (up to 16 in some countries), you must be at least the age required in your country, or have your parent's or guardian's consent, to use the App.

7. Your rights

Because the App does not collect personal data on our servers, we do not hold a personal profile about you to access, correct, or delete. The information the App stores lives on your own device and is fully under your control — you can delete it at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App. If you have any questions or requests, contact us at anishrathidrive@gmail.com.

8. Data security

Because your progress data stays on your device, its security depends largely on your device's own protections (such as your screen lock). We take reasonable care in how the App is built, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time — for example, if we add features such as user accounts or subscriptions, we will update this Policy to describe any new data practices before those features collect data. When we make changes, we will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above.
